About Heart of the Lion Martial Arts and Custom Bows
My name is David Erler.
I have been doing martial arts since I was 5 years old. I have studied many different forms of maritial arts, mostly the harder styles of martial arts, for example Tae Kwon Do. My Favorite master was Grand Master David Chaanine.i stuided with him from age 15 to 35 years of age i also studied with Master morice orange with the ATA in 1984, My lastest adventure is the art of archery. I haved learned not only how to yield a bow, but I have ben making custom Long-bows for the last fourteen years. I have made over 400 bows to date.....maybe i can make one for you......
The purpose of this website is to equip other martial artist with the suppies and equipment that they will need to succeed in their adventures in Martial Arts.

As a student of the martial arts I have studies meny difurent Stilys, Kung fu, Tong so do,Tek kwon, Jujitso,judo,kendo,Hopki-do,Ikido,And most of all Tae kwon do,for over 35yr's.
in 1998 A flood wipped out my school so i gave up on doing any martial arts for 20 yrs.
Then in that 20 years, I got fat and out of shape,
So in 2019 I desided to go back to training, I fond An ATA Tae Kwon Do school on the north side of San Antonio, Texas.
the head Instructor aloud me to keep my 1st degree black belt, I had from the ATA i got in 1984.
but i still felt like a white belt. trying to make my body do the thing i use to do when i was a lot younger i have to retrain my body all over from the begining, i still have all the knowlage i lerned over the years, i am now training with master Steve Ashcraft, A 9 dan master in Tae Kwon Do And A MMA Champion.
I am now A Forth Degree black belt.
